Ms Tanya read the story ‘If your happy and you know it’ and we made this great book for the Feeling song. Ms Tanya took photos of us making all these silly faces and we are making ONE large classroom book. We do SO much in class, and mom loves to know I am partcipating.

I played with magnets for a while, and love how they work. Mom catches me at the fridge playing with them all the time. My speech is harder to understand, but all this extra therapy is helping.

Moms been making a word list for my new Pecs book, which will help take some of this frustration off me.

My job for the day was to get the juice.

Its about the senses today

We explored our 5 senses and made this big project with 6 blocks on it.

1 had a picture of a hand with a cotton ball and a piece of sand paper.
2 Had a picture of an ear and a whistle.
3 had a picture of my eyes and a large mirror made from tinfoil!
4 Had a photo of a mouth as well as lemons.
5 And the last was a nose with flowers and a picture of a skunk. Pretty cool!!!

My job was to get the juice today, and we had speech and language. I like school because we have so much fun making things that help me talk!

Mommy and the School things

Mom does not like my current teacher. Shes a substitute with no training in special ed. Mom really went off on her today when she saw that this teacher had me in a corner crying because I went to use the bathroom. It was really hard on mom to see me crying and so sad. It was hard for me too. This teacher does not know how to sign, and she also does not have my pecs pictures so I can not tell her when I need to go potty. Mom says I wont be going back again, and I’m just glad I get snuggle time with mom now. Mom wrote this big letter to the head of Special Education and made so many phonecalls the battery went dead! But I know my mom and she will make it all work out. She always does.

Today we played in the water table with water animal toys. I had speech with Ms Tanya and we did a lot of practicing with how we answer questions.

The story of the day was Jump, Frog, Jump.

I had a good day yesterday but mom was not feeling well so she went to sleep early. I had a St Patricks Day party at school with our speech teacher. I wore a green hat with clovers on it mom and dad made me. Mom will write more when shes feeling better,but right now she just wants to rest.
