First Day of Kindergarten!

School started a week ago but Mom is just getting to put the photo up.

Tonight was open house and Miss K says I am doing very well, talking more than I should. Mom says we never discourage me from talking! Along with Emaly I am ahead of other kids and know more than I should already! Go Mrs Carol & MOM! I am beginning to read and have my first simple book..

I am ant.

I am dog.

I am cat.

I am bear.

And of course I can read this along with my sister Emaly. Mom makes me read it to her each time I go to get a kiss. Miss K says I am good at helping my friends because I know all my letters and numbers already. I start speech next week and mom will let everyone know how that is going.

I take a lunch every day that Mom and Dad pack me in a bento box. Mom should take pictures, if she can remember * hint hint mom*.

My sightword list started today and mom wants these all learned quickly. Most I should know already but she is going to push Jack and Me to learn them. This weeks words are here; I, at, the, it, to, will, have, yes, we, out, he, and, me, up, see. Mom is making us learn 15 words and we only have to know 5. Shes pushing me fast!

School has been fun, and I am getting so far ahead they are putting me in the afternoon class with Ms Carol after Christmas Break. Mom is so excited, but will be loosing her alone time. Shes ok with that, IM worth it. She also gets time with just me and time with just Emaly this way. Lots of alone time here.

Today we had our fine motor group with Ms Cindy. We cut out a square shape and rectangle shapes to make a gift box. We colored the box and added a bow.

Mom just found out I have no school on friday. YIPPIE.. Not.

My job today was to ring the bell. Im cranky and tired, mom thinks I am coming down with something.

Today we had group time with Ms Cindy. We made a person using wood pieces and it took all of us to do this. I had so much fun! We also had to practice drawing lines and circles. Mom thinks I need more practice so shes printing me out homework sheets from a website she knows about.

I also got to play in the Gym where my brother Nate goes to school. We had this big parachute and did action movement songs.

My job for the day was to help pass out the bookbags. Moms thinking its one of my favorites since I do it so often.

Ms Tanya read the story ‘If your happy and you know it’ and we made this great book for the Feeling song. Ms Tanya took photos of us making all these silly faces and we are making ONE large classroom book. We do SO much in class, and mom loves to know I am partcipating.

I played with magnets for a while, and love how they work. Mom catches me at the fridge playing with them all the time. My speech is harder to understand, but all this extra therapy is helping.

Moms been making a word list for my new Pecs book, which will help take some of this frustration off me.

My job for the day was to get the juice.

Its Columbus Day so we all get to stay home and make Mommy crazy.
